Spectators: 6650 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fernan Montes kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Estudiantes Buenos Aires's Sebastian Silvanito got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 7thth minute of the game Vladimiro Garci who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Garibaldi's Conrado Acuña was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Matias Perico hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the game, Garibaldi's Cecilio Tiso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Esteve Sedeni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 1-1 became the score in the 18th minute when Vinicio Arixo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Garci in the 27th minute of play forced Garibaldi's goalkeeper Conrado Acuña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Garibaldi's Elói de Barros slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Esteve Sedeni. That made the score 2-1 after 35 minutes of play. Garibaldi's Conrado Acuña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimiro Garci in the 43rd minute of play. Honorio Handi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Vladimiro Garci made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the game Ramiro Demario made a throw-in which Cecilio Tiso played forward. Vladimiro Garci could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Conrado Acuña made a huge save. Cecilio Tiso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Garibaldi booed when Estudiantes Buenos Aires was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Silvanito didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Hugo Moreyre fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garibaldi's protests and gave Hugo Moreyre a yellow card for diving instead. Hugo Moreyre hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristo Gau got free with Conrado Acuña in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Cecilio Tiso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteve Sedeni came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Garibaldi's Fernan Montes. But to his dismay, Fernan Montes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernan Montes in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esteve Sedeni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vladimiro Garci who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Conrado Acuña when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Elói de Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Hugo Moreyre in the 87th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Estudiantes Buenos Aires's Honorio Handi. Garibaldi's Conrado Acuña proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Garibaldi from getting a goal against them. Conrado Acuña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Silvanito in the 94th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, Garibaldi could leave the field as winners, despite Estudiantes Buenos Aires having more of the ball for most of the match.
