Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Frank Sachs made the kick off and thus started the match. Smurfarna's Jens Björling got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Jens Björling tried to sneak it across the goal line. 5 minutes had been played when some careless play by Germany's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tord Gustafsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Smurfarna's players had a chance to rest. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute, Smurfarna's Jens Björling dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th minute, Albin Holweck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the match, Germany's Frank Sachs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tord Fors narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 24 minutes into the match, Smurfarna's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Tord Fors reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Smurfarna's Tord Gustafsson. But to his dismay, Tord Gustafsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After 32 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Malte Schiele. In the 33rd minute Tord Gustafsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Jens Björling dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn, 3-0. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Elliott Dalman sent off a good shot on target.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tord Gustafsson was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Jens Björling kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tord Gustafsson in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. The referee felt a red card was in order, 60 minutes into the game, when Sven Krakouer put in a rough tackle. In the 75th minute, Tord Gustafsson made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens Björling, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 7-0 became the score in the 87th minute when Jens Björling elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The supporters of Smurfarna booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albin Holweck didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Germany players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Smurfarna.
