The referee ignored Betania FC's protests and gave Witomir Bator a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd minute, Witomir Bator hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute of the match Valentin Dei shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Placido Hibai showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nemesio Qwinton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Placido Hibai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Betania FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Saul Paskal hit a great ball. Eliseo Baudelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute, Bernardino Salbatore left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Betania FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Betania FC's Placido Hibai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Qwinton in the 30th minute of play. Placido Hibai made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nemesio Qwinton in the 31st minute. Tacoyoj's Nemesio Qwinton was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 38th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 43rd minute of the match Maciej Cwenar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fulgencio Giraldo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fulgencio Giraldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Baudelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernardino Salbatore made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Tacoyoj's goalkeeper Fulgencio Giraldo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eliseo Baudelio. Fulgencio Giraldo made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Eliseo Baudelio sent off a good shot on target. 59 minutes into the match, Eliseo Baudelio notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Tacoyoj's Fulgencio Giraldo. Fulgencio Giraldo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Eliseo Baudelio came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Betania FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Baudelio couldn't finish the play. Tacoyoj's Melquiades Eron was substituted for Carlos Santio. After a defensive mix-up in Tacoyoj's zone, Bernardino Salbatore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fulgencio Giraldo came out of the goal and Bernardino Salbatore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Placido Hibai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliciano Pirro, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After 72 played minutes Tacoyoj got a freekick which was hit by Melquiades Eron. The supporters of Tacoyoj booed when Betania FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeo Rio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Betania FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nemesio Qwinton came free, but Placido Hibai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Placido Hibai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Pirro in the 76th minute of the match. Tacoyoj's Fulgencio Giraldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Tacoyoj from getting a goal against them. 84 minutes into the match, Feliciano Pirro notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Betania FC's Placido Hibai. Placido Hibai was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Amadeo Rio hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Pirro in the 89th minute of play forced Betania FC's goalkeeper Placido Hibai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fulgencio Giraldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardino Salbatore, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 95th minute Bernardino Salbatore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Giraldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Betania FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Betania FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
