Plazoleta Candombera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Betania FC the free kick. After 3 played minutes Plazoleta Candombera got a freekick which was hit by Paulino Txurio. In the 8th match minute, Betania FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardino Salbatore to maneuver through the defense. After 19 minutes of play, Betania FC's Rene Mundo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nunez Urbez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anastasio Cucao hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, Andres Fidencio sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Betania FC's Placido Hibai didn't even have to move. Nunez Urbez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardino Salbatore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santo Cortez hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Nunez Urbez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guaberto Diegotxe, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Betania FC's zone, Constantino Gonsalve stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Placido Hibai came out of the goal and Constantino Gonsalve tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th minute, Santo Cortez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nunez Urbez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Baudelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Plazoleta Candombera's Nunez Urbez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Mundo in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernardino Salbatore was the one to do the kick off. In the 60th minute, Bernardino Salbatore fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With a little luck, Plazoleta Candombera's Nunez Urbez got control of the ball when Eliseo Baudelio tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Betania FC's Bernardino Salbatore slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nunez Urbez. That made the score 0-3 after 67 minutes of play. In the 75th minute, Witomir Bator got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edgard Abaunza charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgard Abaunza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Betania FC booed when Plazoleta Candombera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Abaunza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgard Abaunza was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 78 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Plazoleta Candombera! In the 80th minute, Betania FC got a penalty, and Bernardino Salbatore placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Plazoleta Candombera's Nunez Urbez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Baudelio in the 85th minute of play. Andres Fidencio hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Nunez Urbez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Mundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florentino Kauldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Hibai having to interfere. Betania FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
