A collision led to Rosario Central getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Fidel Inge hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After having played for 53 minutes, Hernan Guillelmo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. One of Rosario Central:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Resfrioboliviano F.C.:s goal. In the 97th minute there was a penalty for Resfrioboliviano F.C.. Hernan Guillelmo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ermegildo Alfonso. 4-5. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Rosario Central eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
