The Puelo AFC fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Puelo AFC's Esteban Naike looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Naike in the 11th minute of play forced Bermejo AFC's goalkeeper Sixto Tomi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Puelo AFC booed when Bermejo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pastor Atarrabi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Bermejo AFC defense, Esteban Naike kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sixto Tomi. The Bermejo AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sixto Tomi should have stopped the shot. Bermejo AFC's Sixto Tomi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Naike in the 27th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celso Ospin in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sixto Tomi saved Bermejo AFC from getting behind. Fabio Hernandez hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. When Segundo Ekhi fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Puelo AFC's protests and gave Segundo Ekhi a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Puelo AFC's Segundo Ekhi got a free kick in the 36th minute. Serafin Abreu's late challenge caught a Puelo AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Serafin Abreu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd minute, Serafin Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sixto Tomi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteban Naike, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sixto Tomi came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Puelo AFC's Herminio Pacifico. But to his dismay, Herminio Pacifico quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The Bermejo AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Puelo AFC were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Esteban Naike was the one to do the kick off. Segundo Ekhi hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Puelo AFC's zone, Serafin Abreu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingo Odilon came out of the goal and Serafin Abreu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Segundo Ekhi was shown his second yellow card after 52 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 53rd minute, Segundo Ekhi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Serafin Abreu came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Bermejo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafin Abreu couldn't finish the play. Domingo Odilon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafin Abreu in the 64th minute of play. Herminio Pacifico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Bermejo AFC's Fabio Hernandez got a free kick in the 76th minute. Fabio Hernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bermejo AFC's zone, Joaquin Efraim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sixto Tomi came out of the goal and Joaquin Efraim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sixto Tomi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Efraim in the 81st minute of play. In the 87th match minute, Puelo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Gaitano to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serafin Abreu in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Domingo Odilon saved Puelo AFC from getting behind. In the 93rd match minute, Bermejo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pastor Atarrabi to maneuver through the defense. The Bermejo AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Puelo AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
