Anastasio Gonzo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yoto Stamchev went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Julio Asier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Gonzo having to interfere. After 13 played minutes Peña las ratas got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Iruinea. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Christian Mikeldi put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Anastasio Gonzo. After having played for 28 minutes, Yoto Stamchev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Patatillos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yoto Stamchev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Patatillos's Christian Mikeldi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anastasio Gonzo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Christian Mikeldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Peña las ratas's zone, Yoto Stamchev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anastasio Gonzo came out of the goal and Yoto Stamchev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th match minute, Peña las ratas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafino Espiridion to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Anastasio Gonzo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Christian Mikeldi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Patatillos getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Yoto Stamchev hit a great ball. Gogo Lawrence's late challenge caught a Peña las ratas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gogo Lawrence helped the player get up and apologised. Gogo Lawrence hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. 48 minutes into the match, Peña las ratas's Matias Emenon broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christian Mikeldi to make the kick off. The Patatillos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0.
