Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicolae Mara to make the kick off. Nicolae Mara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Luiz Fábio Azevedo made a huge save. In the 63rd play minute Nicolae Mara came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Luiz Fábio Azevedo. 2-2. 68 minutes into the match, Trapalcó AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Godofredo Ekialde came free, but Alvaro Ralondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luiz Fábio Azevedo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Mauricio Steven had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alvaro Ralondo. Trapalcó AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauricio Steven was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Feliciano Iago took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luiz Fábio Azevedo. Paraná AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Paraná AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
