After a defensive mix-up in Guasapampa AFC's zone, Miguel Llorienzo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicanor Palban came out of the goal and Miguel Llorienzo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th minute Miguel Llorienzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicanor Palban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th of the match, Miguel Llorienzo tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Nicanor Palban got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 25th minute of the match, Miguel Llorienzo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nicanor Palban saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Rodrigo Eron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, Jonatan Belo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guasapampa AFC's Nicanor Palban played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Llorienzo in the 31st minute of play. After 38 minutes of play, Cuipán FC's Miguel Llorienzo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
