Armando Laurentzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Quinten, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. If Placido Bitxintxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobias Calvino struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Christian Burni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nono AFC. Albano Luke kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. When Cosme Indar came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Nono AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cosme Indar couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Nono AFC booed when Magdalena AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albano Luke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nono AFC's Armando Laurentzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Quinten in the 42nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Placido Bitxintxo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nono AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Placido Bitxintxo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Burni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfonso Quinten to make the kick off. The supporters of Nono AFC booed when Magdalena AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filomeno Franco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nono AFC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Magdalena AFC had won, even though Nono AFC had held more of the ball.
