Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Blas Ciano made the kick off which started today's match. Cosme Beremundo struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Adan Valiente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lugano C.F.. Adan Valiente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosme Beremundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 6th minute Godofredo Jokin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adan Valiente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the game, Lugano C.F.'s Godofredo Jokin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adan Valiente made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, Anacleto Rik had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Pancho. Lugano C.F.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anacleto Rik was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Bernardino Ofelio sped through Lugano C.F.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carlos Pancho. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Cosme Beremundo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lugano C.F.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Cosme Beremundo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adan Valiente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardino Ofelio got free with Carlos Pancho in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Blas Ciano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carlos Pancho. That made the score 3-1 in the 23 minute of play. If Aquiles Ruisko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. C.D.Gerli.'s Adan Valiente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godofredo Jokin in the 30th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in C.D.Gerli.'s zone, Cosme Beremundo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adan Valiente came out of the goal and Cosme Beremundo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Lugano C.F.'s Carlos Pancho got control of the ball when Bernardino Ofelio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Godofredo Jokin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adan Valiente having to interfere. Aquiles Ruisko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adan Valiente read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. After 39 played minutes Lugano C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Aquiles Ruisko. After having played for 40 minutes, Bartolo Iraido managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.D.Gerli.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Bartolo Iraido was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Aquiles Ruisko came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Lugano C.F. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aquiles Ruisko couldn't finish the play. After 45 minutes of play, Lugano C.F.'s Godofredo Jokin made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adan Valiente was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Godofredo Jokin to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, C.D.Gerli.'s goalkeeper Adan Valiente had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Godofredo Jokin. Aquiles Ruisko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Adan Valiente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Pancho came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by C.D.Gerli.'s Blas Ciano. But to his dismay, Blas Ciano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. In the 61st minute, Blas Ciano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Pancho was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. Aldo Tipi hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Cosme Beremundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adan Valiente having to interfere. Adan Valiente made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Cosme Beremundo sent off a good shot on target. 73 minutes into the game, Cristo Oier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.D.Gerli.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lugano C.F. the free kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Blas Ciano during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 78 minutes into the match, Lugano C.F.'s Cosme Beremundo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adan Valiente narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cosme Beremundo got free with Adan Valiente in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aquiles Ruisko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adan Valiente having to interfere. When Aquiles Ruisko came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Lugano C.F. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aquiles Ruisko couldn't finish the play.
