Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Joaquin Atarrabi made the kick off which started today's match. Tambillos AFC's Sebastian Matxin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Abella in the 6th minute of play. Delmar Sendoa might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Higinio Gabino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Delmar Sendoa ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 16th minute Denis Abella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Matxin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicanor Jorrin's late challenge caught a Vamos a Volver's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicanor Jorrin helped the player get up and apologised. Nicanor Jorrin hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Denis Abella recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Vamos a Volver's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquin Atarrabi came free, but Higinio Gabino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Matxin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Abella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melchor Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Sebastian Matxin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Denis Abella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Denis Abella to make the kick off. Higinio Gabino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquin Atarrabi, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After a rather tough play, Vamos a Volver's Wilfredo Jakue got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 66th minute Joaquin Atarrabi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Gabino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denis Abella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Matxin having to interfere. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the match, Vamos a Volver's Melchor Abreu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebastian Matxin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Vamos a Volver players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tambillos AFC.
