Leonides Pere started the match with the kick off. Leonides Pere succeeded in the game's 3rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Tambillos AFC's Sebastian Matxin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Pere in the 6th minute of play. If Leonides Pere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justo Etxekopar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Sebastian Matxin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Nicanor Jorrin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Everardo Argi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Justo Etxekopar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justo Etxekopars short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Sebastian Matxin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Nicanor Jorrin fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tambillos AFC's protests and gave Nicanor Jorrin a yellow card for diving instead. After 22 played minutes Tambillos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Jorrin. Sebastian Matxin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Justo Etxekopar went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 26 minutes into the match, River Plate's Leonides Pere sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebastian Matxin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gavino Remigio hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. If Anselmo Bertin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Matxin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonides Pere in the 34th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Joaquin Atarrabi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Everardo Argi was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Joaquin Atarrabi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Argi having to interfere. When Tambillos AFC's Joaquin Atarrabi in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye River Plate's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

After 53 played minutes Tambillos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Jorrin. Sebastian Matxin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Pere in the 63rd minute of play. A collision led to Tambillos AFC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Nicanor Jorrin hit a great ball. Leonides Pere recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonides Pere scored 4-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sebastian Matxin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Delmar Sendoa kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Pere in the 86th minute of play forced Tambillos AFC's goalkeeper Sebastian Matxin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Nicanor Jorrin was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 87 minutes had been played. After 87 played minutes Tambillos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Jorrin. Sebastian Matxin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonides Pere's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Tambillos AFC's Sebastian Matxin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Pere in the 92nd minute of play. Joaquin Atarrabi's late challenge caught a River Plate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joaquin Atarrabi helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of River Plate booed when Tambillos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Atarrabi didn't get a good kick on the ball. River Plate's Maximo Anaya was substituted for Leonides Pere. After 94 played minutes Tambillos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Atarrabi. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Justo Etxekopar in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastian Matxin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee ended the match the River Plate players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
