The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. ReLaMPaGo FC's Alejandro Panfilo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Frances in the 10th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Lajos Rigó got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 24 minutes into the game, Michal Fischer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ReLaMPaGo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Moreno the free kick. In the 24th match minute, ReLaMPaGo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michal Fischer to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, Moreno's goal looked a bit too open when Hélio Mendes came free, but Guaberto Teyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a defensive mix-up in ReLaMPaGo FC's zone, Luis Madaleno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejandro Panfilo came out of the goal and Luis Madaleno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ReLaMPaGo FC's Alejandro Panfilo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save ReLaMPaGo FC from getting a goal against them. 57 minutes into the match, ReLaMPaGo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Madaleno came free, but Alejandro Panfilo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of ReLaMPaGo FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Moreno:s goal. 66 minutes into the match, Luis Madaleno dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alejandro Panfilo, 0-4. ReLaMPaGo FC's Alejandro Panfilo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Madaleno in the 71st minute of play. The ReLaMPaGo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alejandro Panfilo should have stopped the shot. ReLaMPaGo FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Feliciano Amaya scored to the left of an out of position Alejandro Panfilo, making the score, 0-6. ReLaMPaGo FC's Alejandro Panfilo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save ReLaMPaGo FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Moreno booed when ReLaMPaGo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Ortle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guaberto Teyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michal Fischer in the 99th minute of play. Moreno's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
