Damian Serapio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Braulio Ciceron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damian Serapio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Braulio Ciceron having to make a save. After 31 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Club atletico Guemes! Paulino Leoiar scored 0-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hugo Manny, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Atilano Eduino kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Nemesio Baudelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Braulio Ciceron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The throw-in from Segundo Procopio in the 52nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Club atletico Guemes's Fernando Distiratsu. After a defensive mix-up in Ibarreta's zone, Fernando Distiratsu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Braulio Ciceron came out of the goal and Fernando Distiratsu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Ubelteso in the 60th minute of play forced Ibarreta's goalkeeper Braulio Ciceron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Club atletico Guemes getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Atilano Eduino hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute of the match, Geronimo Petri got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hugo Manny was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Leonel Mikelats had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club atletico Guemes's Damian Serapio quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eulalio Bizen, made in the 68th minute of the game. Club atletico Guemes's Hugo Manny proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Club atletico Guemes from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Club atletico Guemes getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Clodoveo Ubelteso hit a great ball. The supporters of Club atletico Guemes booed when Ibarreta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Clodio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geronimo Petri kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 98thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Club atletico Guemes's keeper Hugo Manny was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. The Ibarreta supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ibarreta would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
