Spectators: 6929 (Terracing: 5303, Seating: 1625, VIP seats: 1) Tacuara's Armando Blasco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Silvestre Gar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Blasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Aurelio Martxot fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Huinganco AFC's protests and gave Aurelio Martxot a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Tacuara booed when Huinganco AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Martxot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciriaco Furtado hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16thth minute of the game Ulises Eleder who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tacuara's Nereo Claus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Hermengildo Rocendo fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Huinganco AFC's protests and gave Hermengildo Rocendo a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Blasco in the 26th minute of play forced Huinganco AFC's goalkeeper Silvestre Gar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Huinganco AFC's Ulises Eleder in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tacuara's goalie prevented a goal. Silvestre Gar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Blasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ulises Eleder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Nereo Claus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mauricio Millan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Silvestre Gar made a huge save. Armando Blasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Gar having to interfere. Mauricio Millan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Silvestre Gar came out and tried to block the shot, but Mauricio Millan slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 41st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauricio Millan got free with Silvestre Gar in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ulises Eleder to strike the kick off in the second half. Mauricio Millan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Silvestre Gar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the game, Tacuara's Armando Blasco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvestre Gar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. If Ulises Eleder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Blasco in the 82nd minute of play forced Huinganco AFC's goalkeeper Silvestre Gar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nereo Claus came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Huinganco AFC's Ulises Eleder. But to his dismay, Ulises Eleder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. There was no doubt that Tacuara were the better team. Tacuara's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
