Amado Ruisko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After recieving a nice pass, la caaguazu's Leonardo Ubendu tried to score from far away in the 26th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Amado Ruisko made a precise shot to the right of Braulio Petri. la caaguazu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Braulio Petri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 武益升 went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 39th minute, Juan Gaspard reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Braulio Petri. The goal made the score 6-0. 43 minutes into the match, la caaguazu's goalkeeper Braulio Petri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Gaspard. 44 minutes in the game, Cornelio Stephen fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Braulio Petri having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

After 68 minutes of play, Oranje's Juan Gaspard made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Braulio Petri was left in no man's land by his defense there! 71 minutes into the game, Oranje's Amado Ruisko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Braulio Petri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. After 74 played minutes la caaguazu got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Cruz. After some careless play in the la caaguazu defense, Juan Gaspard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Braulio Petri. The la caaguazu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Braulio Petri should have stopped the shot. Oranje made a substitution. Diego Raulo replaced 武益升. la caaguazu's Braulio Petri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelio Stephen in the 94th minute of play.
