But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Jatsu couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Rosio in the 32nd minute of play forced Colonial F.C.'s goalkeeper Omar Perpinya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Colonial F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Jatsu came free, but Omar Perpinya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Omar Perpinya didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mario Thomas went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victor Darien was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Fernan Cristofol dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Omar Perpinya, 1-3. Omar Perpinya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Thomas, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The TUKI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Mario Thomas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Omar Perpinya having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomás Jatsu got free with Omar Perpinya in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ciriaco Rosio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Omar Perpinya came out and tried to block the shot, but Ciriaco Rosio slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 86th minute. If Tomás Jatsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 97 minutes, Tomás Jatsu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TUKI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Jatsu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Colonial F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. TUKI were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
