After 23 played minutes Chacarita Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Yannick Sourice. In the 27th match minute, C.A.R.P. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcial Etxeberri to maneuver through the defense. Ciro Viviano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Valery having to interfere. A collision led to C.A.R.P. getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Gaspar Lazcano hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Chacarita Juniors's Yannick Sourice got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Nemesio Gaizko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Freddy Goren made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Raul Avellaneda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leo Valery was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. If Raul Avellaneda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Chacarita Juniors booed when C.A.R.P. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Haitz didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Yannick Sourice hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the game, C.A.R.P.'s Nemesio Gaizko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Freddy Goren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. With a little luck, C.A.R.P.'s Leo Valery got control of the ball when Raul Avellaneda tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Ciro Viviano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. Leo Valery was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Chacarita Juniors's Cayetano Gonchan was substituted for Hilario Cordero. Raul Avellanedas short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Leo Valery to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 87 minutes into the match, Chacarita Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Marcial Etxeberri came free, but Freddy Goren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leo Valery didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Chacarita Juniors's Raul Avellaneda shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-4 in the ordered_time% minute.
