Ambrosio Montay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernan Evarado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erize FC's Ambrosio Montay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Perico in the 30th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Erize FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Perico came free, but Ambrosio Montay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th match minute, Erize FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaias Ipar to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute Fernan Evarado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ambrosio Montay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ambrosio Montay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genaro Gil, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Fernan Hechter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Jon Hanson made a huge save. 48 minutes into the match, Erize FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benigno Maria came free, but Ambrosio Montay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jose Perico stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Genaro Gil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ambrosio Montay having to interfere. Ambrosio Montay was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Anselmo Toro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anselmo Toro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Jose Perico blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ambrosio Montay having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Perico in the 60th minute of play forced Erize FC's goalkeeper Ambrosio Montay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erize FC's Ambrosio Montay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Erize FC from getting a goal against them. Ambrosio Montay came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Papapas F.C.'s Genaro Gil. But to his dismay, Genaro Gil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genaro Gil in the 76th minute of play forced Erize FC's goalkeeper Ambrosio Montay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jose Perico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the match, Erize FC's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Gil came free, but Ambrosio Montay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erize FC's Ambrosio Montay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Toro in the 90th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Papapas F.C.'s Ambrosio Montay threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Genaro Gil, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Genaro Gil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ambrosio Montay having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Papapas F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Erize FC.
