Santos Mambru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Bazil in the 16th minute of play. Santos Mambru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Bazil in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Patricio Leoiar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, A.A. Recoleta's Patricio Leoiar got a free kick in the 25th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Marcos Leoiar notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Central Norte de Salta's Abelardo Lorencio. Abelardo Lorencio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 31st minute Patricio Leoiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Lorencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patricio Leoiar got free with Abelardo Lorencio in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Saul Bazil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute Maximo Taurino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Lorencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Siro Osoro's late challenge caught a Central Norte de Salta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Siro Osoro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th match minute, A.A. Recoleta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siro Osoro to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saul Bazil to strike the kick off in the second half. Maximo Taurino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Abelardo Lorencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Saul Bazil fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Santos Mambru, passed just outside the right post. Sebastian Estavan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Taurino in the 61st minute of play forced Central Norte de Salta's goalkeeper Abelardo Lorencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abelardo Lorencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximo Taurino, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 67 minutes into the game, Saul Bazil lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Santos Mambru. Abelardo Lorencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Leoiar in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, Central Norte de Salta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herminio Oliverio to maneuver through the defense. Desiderio Rexino struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Abelardo Lorencio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.A. Recoleta. Marcos Leoiar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abelardo Lorencio having to make a save. Rolando Sergi replaced Patricio Leoiar. 79 minutes into the match, Gonzalo Txeru had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abelardo Lorencio. Central Norte de Salta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gonzalo Txeru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 82nd minute Maximo Taurino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Lorencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Central Norte de Salta's Abelardo Lorencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Sergi in the 84th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Central Norte de Salta's zone, Sebastian Estavan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abelardo Lorencio came out of the goal and Sebastian Estavan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Sergi in the 86th minute of play forced Central Norte de Salta's goalkeeper Abelardo Lorencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abelardo Lorencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Leoiar in the 87th minute of the match. Sebastian Estavan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Lorencio having to interfere. Abelardo Lorencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siro Osoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the match, Central Norte de Salta's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Sergi came free, but Abelardo Lorencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute Siro Osoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Lorencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Siro Osoro managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.A. Recoleta's supporters rose to their feet, but Siro Osoro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abelardo Lorencio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A.A. Recoleta walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
