Donald Badawi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 9th minute, Ivan Berart got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Racing Club de Avellaneda's Venancio Brais got a free kick in the 13th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Prospero Ubendu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Racing Club de Avellaneda booed when Golondrinas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Celino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Berart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 76 played minutes Golondrinas got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Brion. In the 79thth minute of the game Marciano Lorien who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Racing Club de Avellaneda's Prospero Ubendu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Golondrinas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Racing Club de Avellaneda the free kick.
