Serafino Rivas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alvaro Lapurdi having to make a save. After having played for 71 minutes, Silvio Harri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boca FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvio Harri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serafino Rivas got free with Alvaro Lapurdi in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 74 minutes into the match, Humberto Jacindo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alvaro Lapurdi, 0-6. The Boca FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
