When Fausto Paulin came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Nogoyá FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fausto Paulin couldn't finish the play. After 43 minutes of play, Nogoyá FC's Mariano Urre made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Estebe was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, lucas mag's Adan Roano got a free kick in the 47th minute. Mariano Urre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabio Estebe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Melchor Nuno hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Agustin Quico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Tiadoro having to interfere. Fabio Estebe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fausto Paulin in the 82nd minute. Nogoyá FC's Nicanor Tiadoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Quico in the 88th minute of play. In the 91st minute of the match Francisco Naike sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicanor Tiadoro skillfully saved the ball. After 94 played minutes lucas mag got a freekick which was hit by Natalio Iigo. Mariano Urre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Nogoyá FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Nogoyá FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
