The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jesus Beremundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Martin Gutierrez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Santos Gutxi fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Freckone's protests and gave Santos Gutxi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th match minute, Freckone was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Gutxi to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute of the match Virgilio Gines shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hermengildo Poz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 12th minute, Baltasar Romelio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Ezeiza AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jesus Beremundo came free, but Martin Gutierrez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Lucas Onofre reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hermengildo Poz. The goal made the score 1-1. 23 minutes into the game, Freckone's Jesus Beremundo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martin Gutierrez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Virgilio Gines's late challenge caught a Freckone's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Virgilio Gines helped the player get up and apologised. 26 minutes into the game, one of Ezeiza AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Martin Gutierrez had in the 28thth minute some difficulties stopping Froilan Dimo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Freckone's Froilan Dimo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martin Gutierrez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. German Gau kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Ezeiza AFC's Martin Gutierrez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesus Beremundo in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Eusebio Loramendi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Freckone fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. After the first half Freckone were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucas Onofre was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Jesus Beremundo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Freckone's supporters rose to their feet, but Jesus Beremundo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Gutierrez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mario Valery fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Gutierrez having to interfere. Hermengildo Poz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeo Beremundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amadeo Beremundo during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Jesus Beremundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jesus Beremundo's late challenge caught a Ezeiza AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jesus Beremundo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76th match minute, Freckone was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Beremundo to maneuver through the defense. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Valery couldn't finish the play. If Eusebio Loramendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Isaac Jusepe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Freckone played a much better game than Ezeiza AFC and deserved their victory. The Ezeiza AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
