A collision led to Cuervachos F. C. getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Anier Jaen hit a great ball. Hermengildo Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paolo Walme, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cuervachos F. C.'s goalkeeper Clemente Leoiar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerardo Eli during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hermengildo Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Walme in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when German Gregory stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Cordareo in the 56th minute of play forced Francisco Alvarez FC's goalkeeper Hermengildo Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilberto Cordareo in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hermengildo Cruz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eustacio Iago kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match.
