With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oscar Kepa in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramon Aurken saved gallardo Fc from getting behind. Evandro Fantini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Aurken having to interfere. gallardo Fc's Ovidio Toribio got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ramon Aurken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Kepa in the 42nd minute of the match. Santo Dolfos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Lázaro Ferrando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Kristian Dumpleton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Lanus's zone, Santo Dolfos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lázaro Ferrando came out of the goal and Santo Dolfos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Dolfos in the 57th minute of play forced Club Atlético Lanus's goalkeeper Lázaro Ferrando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, gallardo Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Evandro Fantini came free, but Ramon Aurken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Lucio Maidana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. gallardo Fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Lanus the free kick. In the 63rd match minute, gallardo Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucio Maidana to maneuver through the defense. Ramon Aurken was a little too slow when Evandro Fantini got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 1-2. Ovidio Toribio struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Lázaro Ferrando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for gallardo Fc. 94 minutes into the match, Evandro Fantini dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ramon Aurken, 1-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Club Atlético Lanus walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
