The audience thought a goal was coming when Eugenio Banegas got free with Aureliano Jerold in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eugenio Banegas struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Aureliano Jerold didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ROCK SUR FC. 11 minutes into the match, Manantiales's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Cerilo came free, but Aureliano Jerold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aureliano Jerold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Cerilo in the 13th minute of play. Marcelo Izel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermegildo Arce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nestor Cerilo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliano Jerold having to interfere. Aureliano Jerold made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Eugenio Banegas sent off a good shot on target. Aureliano Jerold stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nestor Cerilo's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Serafin Peio's late challenge caught a ROCK SUR FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Serafin Peio helped the player get up and apologised. Serafin Peio hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Aureliano Jerold made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Eugenio Banegas sent off a good shot on target. Nestor Cerilo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aureliano Jerold read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Eugenio Banegas made the kick off in the second half. Eugenio Banegas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60thth minute of the game Eugenio Banegas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Manantiales's Aureliano Jerold was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eugenio Banegas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 64 minutes, Nestor Cerilo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ROCK SUR FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nestor Cerilo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Leonardo Pirani managed to get in a good position for a shot. ROCK SUR FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonardo Pirani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aureliano Jerold breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 67 minutes into the game, ROCK SUR FC's Nestor Cerilo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aureliano Jerold made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Eugenio Banegas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aureliano Jerold read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play.
