Filomeno Viviano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Ramone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Chapelco's zone, Peter Laco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filomeno Viviano came out of the goal and Peter Laco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Saraza La Zarlanga were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Santo Gurutz made the kick off in the second half. Saraza La Zarlanga's Nunez Ezkerra got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Orkatz in the 55th minute of play forced Chapelco's goalkeeper Filomeno Viviano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute Nunez Ezkerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Viviano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Ciriaco Eneto threw the ball into play from the sideline. Chapelco's Urbano Guillelmo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 63rd minute of the match, Peter Laco got a very nice opportunity to score, but Filomeno Viviano was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Chapelco's Filomeno Viviano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Chapelco from getting a goal against them. When Sixto Orkatz fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saraza La Zarlanga's protests and gave Sixto Orkatz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th match minute, Saraza La Zarlanga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sixto Orkatz to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute, Alvaro Weterio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Nunez Ezkerra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saraza La Zarlanga's supporters rose to their feet, but Nunez Ezkerra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filomeno Viviano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filomeno Viviano made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Peter Laco sent off a good shot on target. In the 86th minute Aurelio Ramone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Viviano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filomeno Viviano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nunez Ezkerra went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. Chapelco's Urbano Guillelmo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sixto Orkatz, made in the 90th minute of the game. Teo Iraido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Nuñez having to interfere. Filomeno Viviano was a little too slow when Aurelio Ramone got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 0-10. The Chapelco fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Saraza La Zarlanga were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
