Bruno Emenon might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zeledon Napier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bruno Emenon ran back to his position shaking his head. Joel Savier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Zeledon Napier made a huge save. If João Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damaso Dolfos hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Hernan Tibalt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timoteo Reynardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Joel Savier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Salsedo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Talita FC were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Savier made a kick off. Hernan Tibalt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damaso Dolfos in the 61st minute. Timoteo Reynardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Hernan Tibalt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Salsedo's 楚兴俊 seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed 楚兴俊 the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Salsedo protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and 楚兴俊 had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 80 minutes into the game, one of Salsedo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When Conrado Sol fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Talita FC's protests and gave Conrado Sol a yellow card for diving instead. Braulio Felo walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After having played for 93 minutes, João Leiria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salsedo's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Leiria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bruno Emenon struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Zeledon Napier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salsedo. 97 minutes into the game, Timoteo Reynardo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Talita FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Salsedo the free kick. In the 97th minute, Timoteo Reynardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 99th minute, Timoteo Frances made a precise shot to the right of Hernan Tibalt. Salsedo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Salsedo lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
