Talita FC's Desiderio Filipo got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Damaso Dolfos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Jorge Macario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Macario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desiderio Filipo, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damaso Dolfos got free with Jorge Macario in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Santiago Medina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Macario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damaso Dolfos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Desiderio Filipo struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Jorge Macario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Talita FC. Jorge Macario didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 28th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. The audience was convinced that Desiderio Filipo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorge Macario was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. If Santiago Medina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Talita FC's Desiderio Filipo managed to work through Club Atletico Belgrano's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Desiderio Filipo dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Desiderio Filipo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Celso Totakoxe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atletico Belgrano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talita FC the free kick. Celso Totakoxe kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Talita FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Americo Urtsin in the 55th minute. When Desiderio Filipo came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Talita FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Desiderio Filipo couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Club Atletico Belgrano getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Saturnino Olayo hit a great ball. Santiago Medina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Napier having to interfere. Timoteo Frances charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Timoteo Frances the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Timoteo Frances hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the game, Eusebio Cordeiro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zeledon Napier. Eusebio Cordeiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Jorge Macario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Filipo in the 75th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Desiderio Filipo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Talita FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Desiderio Filipo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Macario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Santiago Medina came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Club Atletico Belgrano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santiago Medina couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd minute, Anibal Berto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
