The supporters of Pontevedra FC booed when Juventus de Mar del Plata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Gartzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Juventus de Mar del Plata defense, Luis Guillelme kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aaron Natal. The Juventus de Mar del Plata fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aaron Natal should have stopped the shot. Roman Mikolas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Eate, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Vicente Eate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Mikolas having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luis Guillelme to make the kick off. Aaron Natal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Guillelme in the 56th minute of the match. Luis Guillelme took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aaron Natal. Aaron Natal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 63rd minute, Pontevedra FC's Luis Guillelme dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Pontevedra FC's Roman Mikolas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Eate in the 68th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Pontevedra FC's Luis Guillelme dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. 76 minutes into the game, Juventus de Mar del Plata's Vicente Eate nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roman Mikolas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. The Juventus de Mar del Plata fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pontevedra FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
