Luciano Fidensio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Federico Oskarbi having to make a save. After having played for 10 minutes, Luciano Fidensio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guaycurú's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luciano Fidensio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Guaycurú booed when los pibes de Josi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Arotza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Federico Oskarbi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Montrelle in the 17th minute of the match. With a little luck, Guaycurú's Santos Bastiaro got control of the ball when Javier Domiku tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Clemente Montrelle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luciano Fidensio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Oskarbi having to interfere. Luciano Fidensio scored 0-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Federico Oskarbi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Federico Oskarbi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luciano Fidensio went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Federico Oskarbi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eulalio Oalo in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Luciano Fidensio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Federico Oskarbi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3.

Clemente Montrelle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Luciano Fidensio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guaycurú's supporters rose to their feet, but Luciano Fidensio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Federico Oskarbi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Federico Oskarbi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Fidensio, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Eulalio Oalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Federico Oskarbi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 63 minutes, Clemente Montrelle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luciano Fidensio struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Federico Oskarbi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guaycurú.
