Leonel Feliu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aleksander Hejza in the 6th minute of the match. With 9 minutes on the clock, Fabricio Behe commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 19 played minutes, República de Arroyito FC's Florentino Egoitz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vinicio Berdaitz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in República de Arroyito FC reached it. Freddy Atarrabi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Cristobal Aragones came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Scuinkles Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristobal Aragones couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Scuinkles Club booed when República de Arroyito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejo Panfilo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Cristian Chap had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristobal Aragones received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Leonel Feliu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hector Quiroga made a kick off. Vinicio Berdaitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Quiroga in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th match minute, Scuinkles Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Plhal to maneuver through the defense. Dan Plhal hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Cristian Chap received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Vinicio Berdaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonel Feliu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Atarrabi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hector Quiroga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Scuinkles Club's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Quiroga came free, but Vinicio Berdaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 71 minutes, Freddy Atarrabi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scuinkles Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Freddy Atarrabi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristobal Aragones struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Leonel Feliu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Scuinkles Club. 75 minutes into the game, República de Arroyito FC's Cristian Chap nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vinicio Berdaitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Cristian Chap kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 81stth minute. Though ot was a great shot Scuinkles Club's keeper Vinicio Berdaitz was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After having played for 90 minutes, Freddy Atarrabi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scuinkles Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Freddy Atarrabi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Scuinkles Club's Vicente Basualdo was substituted for Freddy Atarrabi. Cristobal Aragones recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle went the supporters of República de Arroyito FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Scuinkles Club side.
