Leonel Feliu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 17th minute Hector Quiroga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Gentza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, BARILOCHE Club's Claudio Inge seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Claudio Inge the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of BARILOCHE Club protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Claudio Inge had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of BARILOCHE Club:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of República de Arroyito FC:s goal. 23 minutes into the match, BARILOCHE Club's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Quiroga came free, but Gerardo Gentza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Quiroga in the 25th minute of play forced BARILOCHE Club's goalkeeper Gerardo Gentza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Alejo Panfilo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gerardo Gentza. That made the score 1-2 in the 26 minute of play. The supporters of BARILOCHE Club booed when República de Arroyito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Estebano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Timoteo Abajas was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 29th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, República de Arroyito FC's Hector Quiroga got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Alvaro Hitzeder managed to get in a good position for a shot. República de Arroyito FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvaro Hitzeder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerardo Gentza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Lira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. BARILOCHE Club's Gerardo Gentza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Chap in the 52nd minute of play. 55 minutes into the game, Armando Fonda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BARILOCHE Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave República de Arroyito FC the free kick. Armando Fonda hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Gerardo Gentza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Chap in the 58th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Robustiano Ignatius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Candido Sugoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. República de Arroyito FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Candido Sugoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerardo Gentza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Chap in the 67th minute of play forced BARILOCHE Club's goalkeeper Gerardo Gentza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Lira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 77 minutes of play, República de Arroyito FC's Cristian Chap made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gerardo Gentza was left in no man's land by his defense there! República de Arroyito FC's Leonel Feliu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Gabino in the 81st minute of play. Cristian Chap might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gerardo Gentza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Chap ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 92nd minute, Hector Quiroga made a precise shot to the right of Gerardo Gentza. BARILOCHE Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. After 96 minutes of play, República de Arroyito FC's Hector Quiroga made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gerardo Gentza was left in no man's land by his defense there! República de Arroyito FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
