Los Matagigantes's Pastor Enekoitz got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. club Luján fc's Amado Quilino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Enekoitz in the 8th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Los Matagigantes's goal looked a bit too open when Erubiel Elia came free, but Teodoro Esdras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmiro Omero in the 12th minute of play forced club Luján fc's goalkeeper Amado Quilino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emilio Marquez in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amado Quilino saved club Luján fc from getting behind. Pastor Enekoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Amado Quilino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emilio Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Quilino having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Los Matagigantes's Delmiro Omero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amado Quilino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Erubiel Elia took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teodoro Esdras. Teodoro Esdras dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 28th minute, Delmiro Omero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abel Ayala charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel Ayala the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Teodoro Esdras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Toribio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 minutes club Luján fc's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rene Vellito who took care of the corner kick. Elpidio Mero tried in the 36th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Amado Quilino a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-1. Rene Vellito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A hard shot 42 in the game by Emilio Marquez from a close distance when the talented Amado Quilino managed to make a qualified save. club Luján fc's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Rodrigo Mergildo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Matagigantes's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Mergildo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amado Quilino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erubiel Elia might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teodoro Esdras. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
