San Telmo's Cristo Abancens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radoslaw Pawelczyk in the 3rd minute of play. If Braulio Goren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristo Abancens made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Radoslaw Pawelczyk sent off a good shot on target. Braulio Goren might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristo Abancens. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Braulio Goren ran back to his position shaking his head. If Desiderio Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to AC Milan getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Faustino Estefan hit a great ball. Braulio Goren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristo Abancens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cristo Abancens, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 37th minute, Radoslaw Pawelczyk made a precise shot to the right of Cristo Abancens. San Telmo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Hector Marz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Igon having to interfere.

If Hector Marz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 58 minutes into the match, AC Milan's Braulio Goren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristo Abancens narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 64 minutes San Telmo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariano Monico who took care of the corner kick. Leon Garikoitz's late challenge caught a San Telmo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leon Garikoitz helped the player get up and apologised. Desiderio Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Marco Igon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Jecu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Braulio Goren scored 3-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristo Abancens, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristo Abancens came out of the goal and Radoslaw Pawelczyk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diego Bermudo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the AC Milan players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
