Hermengildo Ospin came out of the goal and Ciriaco Paublo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baldomiro Maore hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Godoy's Arnaldo Uhin got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. SeNdErO LuMiNoSo A.A's Jorge Esquipula proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save SeNdErO LuMiNoSo A.A from getting a goal against them. After having played for 28 minutes, Oscar Jago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SeNdErO LuMiNoSo A.A's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oscar Jago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th match minute, SeNdErO LuMiNoSo A.A was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basilio Cebo to maneuver through the defense. If Arnaldo Uhin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Uhin in the 40th minute of play forced SeNdErO LuMiNoSo A.A's goalkeeper Jorge Esquipula to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscar Jago kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Arnaldo Uhins short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Jorge Esquipula to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

The wind increased when Ciriaco Paublo made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mariano Bento during the 52nd minute. Ciriaco Paublo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Blas Ur hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Arnaldo Uhin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Esquipula having to interfere. Blas Ur kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Arnaldo Uhin sped through SeNdErO LuMiNoSo A.A's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jorge Esquipula. 67 minutes into the match, Godoy's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Jago came free, but Hermengildo Ospin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th match minute, Godoy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elvio Presebal to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute, Ciriaco Paublo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SeNdErO LuMiNoSo A.A fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. SeNdErO LuMiNoSo A.A's Emilio Beltza got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Godoy's Fabricio Toro got a free kick in the 84th minute. Rodolfo Birjaio was extremely unlucky when he, in the 88th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Jorge Esquipula didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnaldo Uhin went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaldo Uhin in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorge Esquipula saved SeNdErO LuMiNoSo A.A from getting behind. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Godoy fans cheered their team off the field, for while SeNdErO LuMiNoSo A.A had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
