After a defensive mix-up in Jueya AFC's zone, Jacinto Odon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amado Ciano came out of the goal and Jacinto Odon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to elperlanegra getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Jacinto Odon hit a great ball. After 40 played minutes elperlanegra got a freekick which was hit by Apolo Lartaun. If Haroldo Porfiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Epifanio Sustrai stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jacinto Odon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Haroldo Porfiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haroldo Porfiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Ciano having to interfere. Haroldo Porfiro scored 3-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amado Ciano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
