After having played for 45 minutes, Roman Monte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ialmonchenko's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roman Monte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dobromir Gruchacz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. One of C.A.Rosario Central:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ialmonchenko:s goal. When the match had been going on for 50 minutes, Ialmonchenko's Igor Domiku got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Maximo Florinio.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristobal Thomas to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Ialmonchenko booed when C.A.Rosario Central was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximo Florinio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Igor Domiku managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ialmonchenko's supporters rose to their feet, but Igor Domiku was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximo Florinio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 69 minutes, Efrain Virila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maximo Florinio came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ialmonchenko's Roman Monte. But to his dismay, Roman Monte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Roman Monte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonel Gilabert in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximo Florinio saved C.A.Rosario Central from getting behind. Leonel Gilabert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Maximo Florinio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the game, Cristobal Thomas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A.Rosario Central's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ialmonchenko the free kick. In the 93rd minute, Cristobal Thomas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute, Leonel Gilabert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximo Florinio was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ialmonchenko fully deserved thier win.
