Spectators: 6772 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1631, VIP seats: 141) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bernardo Maiorga got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Pulpera FC booed when avellaneda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Formerio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in avellaneda's zone, Jacinto Gasteiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaston Seme came out of the goal and Jacinto Gasteiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacinto Gasteiz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gaston Seme came out and tried to block the shot, but Jacinto Gasteiz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. After 19 played minutes Pulpera FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Maiorga. Adriana Santikurtz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Formerio in the 20th minute of play. Bernardo Maiorga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romulo Rios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriana Santikurtz having to interfere. Romulo Rios took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adriana Santikurtz. Adriana Santikurtz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Baldomiro Cidro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Seme having to interfere. Gaston Seme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Gasteiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Jaime Formerio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jacinto Gasteiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Seme having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Pulpera FC made a substitution. Jeronimo Mannuel replaced Jacinto Gasteiz. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jaime Formerio to make the kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Jaime Formerio notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Pulpera FC's Adriana Santikurtz. Adriana Santikurtz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The long shot by Americo Bidun in the 66th minute really tested Adriana Santikurtz's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Formerio in the 75th minute of play forced Pulpera FC's goalkeeper Adriana Santikurtz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adriana Santikurtz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pastor Ponciano in the 77th minute. Gaston Seme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melchor Quirze in the 79th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, avellaneda's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomiro Cidro came free, but Gaston Seme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adriana Santikurtz made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Romulo Rios sent off a good shot on target. When the match was over avellaneda could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pulpera FC throughout the match.
