After 27 played minutes avellaneda got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Loren. Gaston Seme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan Palermo's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan Palermo in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaston Seme saved avellaneda from getting behind. Jan Palermo succeeded in the game's 32nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Andi Johnson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elver Garrara FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Andi Johnson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaston Seme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elver Garrara FC's Jan Palermo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 40th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After a defensive mix-up in avellaneda's zone, Marcelo Rito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaston Seme came out of the goal and Marcelo Rito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaime Formerio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Andi Johnson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Seme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 58 minutes, Jan Palermo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elver Garrara FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan Palermo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 郭凡川 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Seme having to interfere. When Tiburcio Mogel came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Elver Garrara FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiburcio Mogel couldn't finish the play. If Andi Johnson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan Palermo in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaston Seme saved avellaneda from getting behind. Romulo Rios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Cornelio Abalos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Apolo Eladio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jaime Formerio hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Marcelo Rito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 86thth minute of the game Jan Palermo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but avellaneda's Gaston Seme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Elver Garrara FC's Tiburcio Mogel got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan Palermo in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaston Seme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 94 minutes into the match, avellaneda's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Palermo came free, but Gaston Seme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Tiburcio Mogel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Elver Garrara FC fully deserved thier win.
