Celso Silvino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristides Francis having to interfere. A collision led to Chas FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Sebastian Henrico hit a great ball. After 36 played minutes Chas FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Suero. The FRANCO FC fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when FRANCO FC's Celso Silvino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 42nd minute, Eugenio Abechuco made a precise shot to the right of Aristides Francis. Chas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 46th minute, Paulo Suero reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leonardo Barbosa. The goal made the score 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulo Suero to make the kick off. Leonardo Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Suero in the 53rd minute of play. Celso Silvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Aristides Francis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 69 minutes, Cosme Laurin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cosme Laurin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Chas FC's goalkeeper Aristides Francis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eugenio Abechuco. Apolo Abadie's late challenge caught a FRANCO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Apolo Abadie helped the player get up and apologised. Celso Silvino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Eugenio Abechuco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Chas FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FRANCO FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
