After 13 played minutes A.A.TONO.FC got a freekick which was hit by Ermegildo Oskarbi. When Gavino Rosario fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.A.TONO.FC's protests and gave Gavino Rosario a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to A.A.TONO.FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Gavino Rosario hit a great ball. In the 27thth minute of the game Iker Casomiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.A.TONO.FC's Lorenzo Mendiko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 28th minute, Arsenio Boni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Atlético Ascasubi defense, Ermegildo Oskarbi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Viktor Isaev. The Atlético Ascasubi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Viktor Isaev should have stopped the shot. In the 33rd minute, Arsenio Boni made a precise shot to the right of Lorenzo Mendiko. A.A.TONO.FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The audience was convinced that Iker Casomiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lorenzo Mendiko was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. The supporters of Atlético Ascasubi booed when A.A.TONO.FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braulio Emesto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Lorenzo Mendiko came out of the goal and Iker Casomiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lorenzo Mendiko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Boni in the 71st minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, A.A.TONO.FC's goalkeeper Lorenzo Mendiko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iker Casomiro. Braulio Emesto helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in A.A.TONO.FC's zone, Arsenio Boni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lorenzo Mendiko came out of the goal and Arsenio Boni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iker Casomiro struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Lorenzo Mendiko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Ascasubi. Christian Medina charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christian Medina the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Atlético Ascasubi played a much better game than A.A.TONO.FC and deserved their victory. The A.A.TONO.FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
