Fabio Brion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Dalmai in the 9th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulises Bernard in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximiliano Gilesindo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16th minute, Ulises Bernard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Los Wachiturritos booed when Chilecito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicanor Jorrin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romulo Odilon got free with Maximiliano Gilesindo in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The long shot by Nunez Grabiel in the 29th minute really tested Maximiliano Gilesindo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Los Wachiturritos's Maximiliano Gilesindo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Los Wachiturritos from getting a goal against them. Romulo Figueroa kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonatan Frisco was the one to do the kick off. Gilberto Dalmai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Fabio Brion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Los Wachiturritos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonatan Frisco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gilberto Dalmai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gilberto Dalmai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Fabio Brion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulises Bernard succeeded in the game's 67th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. After 71 minutes of play, Chilecito's Romulo Odilon made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximiliano Gilesindo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gilberto Dalmai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximiliano Gilesindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicanor Jorrin in the 80th minute of the match. In the 81stth minute of the game Romulo Odilon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Wachiturritos's Maximiliano Gilesindo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Ulises Bernard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximiliano Gilesindo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulises Bernard, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 91st minute Ulises Bernard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Gilesindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Chilecito were victorious despite being under pressure from Los Wachiturritos for much of the match.
