In the 11th minute Albino Galo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melchor Birila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Fabricio Shepherd recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Melchor Birila. Fabricio Shepherd showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Melchor Birila made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabricio Shepherd in the 17th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albino Galo got free with Melchor Birila in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. RumiTeam's Fabricio Shepherd got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Luján AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Albino Galo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Melchor Birila stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albino Galo's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. In the last second Melchor Birila throw himself and got hold of the ball when Albino Galo in the 36thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The supporters of RumiTeam booed when Luján AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Austin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the match, RumiTeam's Fernando Mattin broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Melchor Birila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albino Galo in the 41st minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, RumiTeam's Fabricio Shepherd sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Melchor Birila narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Albino Galo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Melchor Birila was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Fabricio Shepherd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Melchor Birila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Florentino Jayvier to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Albino Galo notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Luján AFC's Melchor Birila. Melchor Birila was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ignacio Bertran during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Luján AFC booed when RumiTeam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Bertran didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Fabricio Shepherd came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the RumiTeam fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabricio Shepherd couldn't finish the play. Melchor Birila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albino Galo in the 62nd minute of play. In the 67th minute, Albino Galo made a precise shot to the right of Melchor Birila. Luján AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Luján AFC's goalkeeper Melchor Birila, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomas Lidon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albino Galo scored 5-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melchor Birila, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 82nd match minute, Luján AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Austin to maneuver through the defense. After 85 minutes Luján AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fernando Mattin who took care of the corner kick. Albino Galo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Melchor Birila read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, Mariano Austin threw the ball into play from the sideline. RumiTeam's Godofredo Veremundo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Rafael Veto was a little too slow when Florentino Jayvier got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 5-1. There was no doubt that RumiTeam were the better team. RumiTeam's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
