Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gregorio Gartzen started the match with the kick off. After having played for 4 minutes, Leonardo Frascuelo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Manzanos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonardo Frascuelo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Los Manzanos's goal looked a bit too open when Tiburcio Bermund came free, but Isidro Matei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute, Patricio Urki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isidro Matei was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 21st minute, Gregorio Gartzen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Patricio Urki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patricio Urki got free with Isidro Matei in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th minute, Tiburcio Quintun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isidro Matei came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Ateneo FC's Prospero Esquipula. But to his dismay, Prospero Esquipula quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After having played for 42 minutes, Gregorio Gartzen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Ateneo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregorio Gartzen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gregorio Gartzen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Isidro Matei skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonardo Frascuelo to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Leonardo Frascuelo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Manzanos's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonardo Frascuelo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hernan Lluterio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 59 minutes, Leonardo Frascuelo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Ateneo FC's Gregorio Gartzen got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Tiburcio Bermund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Eliseo Chorache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the game, Eliseo Chorache was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Manzanos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Ateneo FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Los Manzanos's Eliseo Chorache got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After recieving a nice pass, Los Manzanos's Siro Mogel tried to score from far away in the 90th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Isidro Matei came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Ateneo FC's Gregorio Gartzen. But to his dismay, Gregorio Gartzen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Deportivo Ateneo FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
