Spectators: 7174 (Terracing: 5382, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 142) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arsenio Ishmael took the kick off in the first half of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in CARNAVAL AURIAZUL fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! Moises Horado took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anacleto Ariando. Anacleto Ariando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Moises Horado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 16th minute Evaristo Lizer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anacleto Ariando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Teo Gutierrez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CARNAVAL AURIAZUL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pura Sangre FC the free kick. Teo Gutierrez kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Anacleto Ariando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Horado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Moises Horado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anacleto Ariando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moises Horado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anacleto Ariando read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. With a little luck, Pura Sangre FC's Placido Vincente got control of the ball when Jaime Mano tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 30thth minute of the game Moises Horado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CARNAVAL AURIAZUL's Anacleto Ariando was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Pura Sangre FC's Ricardo Remicio in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CARNAVAL AURIAZUL's goalie prevented a goal. Pura Sangre FC's Placido Vincente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arsenio Ishmael in the 33rd minute of play. After 33 played minutes Pura Sangre FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicasio Hermelando. After a defensive mix-up in CARNAVAL AURIAZUL's zone, Evaristo Lizer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anacleto Ariando came out of the goal and Evaristo Lizer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Moises Horado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anacleto Ariando having to interfere. The supporters of Pura Sangre FC booed when CARNAVAL AURIAZUL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltasar Liberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anacleto Ariando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Lizer in the 42nd minute of play. In the 46th minute, Moises Horado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pura Sangre FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moises Horado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in CARNAVAL AURIAZUL's zone, Norberto Haitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anacleto Ariando came out of the goal and Norberto Haitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 61 minutes into the match, Jaime Mano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Placido Vincente. Pura Sangre FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaime Mano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Placido Vincente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Ishmael in the 67th minute of play. CARNAVAL AURIAZUL's Anacleto Ariando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Horado in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Pura Sangre FC's goal looked a bit too open when Inocencio Txema came free, but Placido Vincente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to CARNAVAL AURIAZUL getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Inocencio Txema hit a great ball. Moises Horado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Anacleto Ariando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evaristo Lizer scored 1-4 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anacleto Ariando, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Moises Horado did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-5 to the left of a surprised Anacleto Ariando 80 minutes into the match. Moises Horado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Anacleto Ariando made a huge save. Anacleto Ariando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Horado, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Anacleto Ariando made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Ricardo Remicio sent off a good shot on target. Jaime Mano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Mano in the 91st minute of play forced Pura Sangre FC's goalkeeper Placido Vincente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anacleto Ariando made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evaristo Lizer in the 93rd minute. Moises Horado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anacleto Ariando having to interfere. Pura Sangre FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
