Manantiales AFC's Pedro Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ambrosio Argider in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Elpidio Nuxila made the kick off in the second half. Pedro Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Txatxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Coelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Jerano in the 58th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Antonio Jerano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Coelho. One of Manantiales AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of San Martin SJ:s goal. In the 78th minute Conrado Txatxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emiliano Cristofol was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arturo Viator showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 80 minute of play. Manantiales AFC's Marcelo Noe was substituted for Marcos Dalmau. When Antonio Jerano fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
