In the 5th minute, Siro Tebaldo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Romeo Maurino hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Pescadores AFC's Prospero Damario got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gaudencio Chale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amado Otsoa in the 12th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Aldao's Rene Lauro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Miguel Heriberto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Siro Tebaldo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Miguel Heriberto. That made the score 2-0 in the 19 minute of play. Amancio Tulio's late challenge caught a Pescadores AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amancio Tulio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th minute there was a penalty for Pescadores AFC. Herminio Urtzi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gaudencio Chale. 2-1. In the 30th minute, Aldao's Siro Tebaldo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. When Amado Otsoa came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Pescadores AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amado Otsoa couldn't finish the play. Rene Lauro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Miguel Heriberto made a huge save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Siro Tebaldo to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Prospero Damario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pescadores AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prospero Damario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 5-2 when Prospero Damario sped through Aldao's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gaudencio Chale. The supporters of Pescadores AFC booed when Aldao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amancio Tulio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aldao's Desiderio Ellande was substituted for Cayetano Gitano. Amado Otsoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaudencio Chale having to interfere. 91 minutes into the game, Pescadores AFC's Amado Otsoa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gaudencio Chale made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-3. The Aldao players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
